It was another good week on fork, with most fish being caught on prespawn patterns. The first are starting to stage in the mouths of creeks and spawning flats and will move shallow during the afternoon on the warmer days. We have been catching some big fish on the new Phoenix Vibrator Jigs in the dirtier water. You can catch a lot of buck bass coming in fishing shallow with wacky rigs and light Texas rigs on shoreline grasses. The bigger females are still waiting patiently on the trees, in ditches and deeper grass. The trap bite and spinnerbait bite is good from day to day as well. I have all of these baits mentioned tied on and switch lures many times during the day to see what they are liking the most. If you don't have any Costa Del Mar 580 lenses glasses, you need to get some fast! The next full moon is going to bring same bass that are ready to burst into the shallows to spawn, and sight fishing will be on like donkey kong. Good luck and don't forget your rain gear.
